I’ve found it helpful to keep track of events I’ve attended over the years. Here you will find past events I’ve attended in past years. Events I have planned for the current year can be found on the home page.
2022 was a year of hybrid events. It has also been a busy one for me, not so much with the events but teaching at classes at K-State. I taught two this year, CMST-315 (Intro to Sys Admin) and CMST-460 (Principals of Software Engineering). If you were looking for me at events I made it to 5 this year. They were:
- NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC Spring) (online) – March 21st to 24th
- VMware Explore (formerly VMworld) (in person in SF) – August 29th to September 1st
- vBrownbag Tech Talk – [VMTN1980] Educating the Next Generation of IT Professionals Using VMware Technology
- NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) – Developer Conference (online) – September 19th to 22nd
- Kansas City VMUG User Con (in person) – October 27th
- Paid sponsor session – Dell APEX
- Wichita VMUG Christmas Party (in person) – December 13th
2021 hasn’t been the year to catch me in person at conferences for obvious reasons. I’ve still been attending them, just virtually, which means you can find me in the conference’s social channels or you can hit me up on twitter (@wonder_nerd). I’m planning on the following events:
- GPU Tech Conference, April 12-23; Sessions:
- 2021 International SeaPerch Challenge, June 4-5; Session:
- Introducing AI in Education – Panel session with:
- Dustin Franklin – NVIDIA (Moderator)
- Christine Nguyen – Boys & Girls Clubs of Western PA @BGCWPA_STEM
- Derek Runberg – SparkFun Electronics @sparkfun
- Introducing AI in Education – Panel session with:
- VMworld September 28-30;
- VMware Code Connect, Sessions listed above
- GPU Tech Conference, October
- No sessions presented
